Dr. Vora is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in disorders of the foot and ankle. He completed his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed a prestigious fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine. His training includes extensive experience in both simple and complex foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and lower extremity orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Vora's interests include ankle replacement and other joint replacements of the foot and ankle, treatment of cartilage problems with joint sparing and cartilage restoration techniques, minimally invasive and arthroscopic reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports related foot and ankle injuries, and primary and revision forefoot surgery. Dr. Vora has authored numerous papers and textbook chapters on foot and ankle surgery and lectures and instructs both locally and nationally to other orthopaedic surgeons, orthopaedists in training, foot and ankle surgeons, and other health care professionals. He also cares for professional and everyday athletes with foot and ankle injuries. Dr. Vora is currently conducting many clinical research projects including prospective multi-center trials examining the outcomes after foot and ankle surgery. This dedication brings an additional level of commitment and expertise to his patients.

Dr. Vora currently resides with his family in downtown Chicago. His outside interests include competitive basketball, travel, and spending time with his two year old daughter and wife.

Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery:

Following completion of a M.D. medical school, orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons complete a rigorous five-year orthopaedic residency with an extensive emphasis on sound orthopaedic principles for the treatment of bone, joint, tendon, and other musculoskeletal conditions. A significant portion of this training is dedicated towards the treatment of foot and ankle and lower extremity related disorders. In addition, a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon completes additional training specific to disorders of the foot and ankle. With a practice focused on foot and ankle disorders, Dr. Vora has extensive experience with such conditions.
